Having just read about Pamela Rogers I feel that I have to comment the following
Yes this is a controversial subject but in no way shape or form do I think that Pamela is a danger to society and let’s face it she doesn’t exactly look like a category A criminal does she?
I do think that she should refrain from people under the age of consent and at the end of the day the law is the law but let me tell you that this happened to me and I have not suffered in any way at all from the actions of the woman in question and would further like to say to say that do not feel ashamed of my feelings towards her at that time
Yes paedophiles sicken me and even though I’m now 41 years old and think I have seen everything I am nearly driven to tears whenever I hear about small children being victims of this sort of thing more so I ask myself what society has come to which fills me with fear from head to toe both with cases in the US and the UK
When I was 15 I had a big crush on a french teacher who was in her early 30’s back in 1985 and she quite liked me too
We often flirted and had occasional kisses etc and to this day I have never regretted her or my own actions and feel that nothing bad came out of this and I certainly did not consider her a paedophile or like some dirty person who prays on children but felt this was the most natural thing in the world and have since had healthy relationships with women throughout my life
Please don’t think I endorse cruelty to small children as I do not but I think back to when I was 14 to 15 I was very forward and considered adults more of an equal than a senior at that age which to me was a great boost for my confidence
I will never forget her and wish her well in everything she does and I would not wish her career ruined or any other misfortune bestowed upon her as a result of this
I think Pamela does need to take advantage of help and encouragement that she needs so she can make the correct choice at the correct time
I also encourage people to comment on this if they so wish and to throw any views or opinions at me and I guarantee that I will be honest with any feedback I give and will treat the views of others with respect
I hope that this is civil enough and I have done my best to put my personal experience view forward
